Vickie Muth

Vicki Muth, 71. passed from this life, to her new home Tuesday, February 22,2022 at Paradise West Assisted Senior living with husband and children by her side.

Vicki was born April 14, 1950, to Leonard and Dolly Schwartz. She graduated from Cavalier Public School in 1968 and married Elmer Muth on January 26th, 1968. Vicki delivered their first daughter Sondra while Elmer was on tour in Vietnam, and then moved to Texas to finish off Elmer’s time in the military.

In 1971, they moved back to North Dakota, where Teresa, Timothy, and Jonathan were born. Vicki was first and foremost a housewife, and mother. She also helped on the farm by driving tractors, potato trucks, and was the farm cook during harvesting time. Vicki loved to spend time with her family while hunting, fishing, or just camping.

In 1978, Vicki and Elmer were instrumental in founding the United Pentecostal Church of Grafton. They spent the next 11 years as a labor of love, nurturing and growing the church. Her favorite day of the week was always Sunday. Worshiping God and attending church made her glow.

In 1989, Vicki and Elmer moved to Arizona due to health reasons. At Faith Temple, Vicki was an integral part of the church involving herself in many facets at Faith Temple. She was a mentor to young ladies, ladies team leader, and a teacher at the Christian school.

The summers were spent traveling the United States in their 5th wheel trailer. Their travels took them from Arizona to North Dakota, and even Alaska.

Vicki spent the later years of her battle with Alzheimer’s at the Farm in North Dakota and at a Group home in Arizona.

She is survived by her Husband Elmer Muth; Children, Sondra (Timothy) Ragains, Glendale, AZ, Teresa (Charles) Pearson, Prescott AZ, Timothy (Jennifer) Muth, Surprise AZ, Jonathan (Holli) Muth, Surprise AZ, eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren, sister, Roberta Henderson, Houston TX.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Leonard Schwartz; sister, Sandy Abbott; infant sister, Irene; infant grandchild, Timothy Keith Elmer Ragains

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 12, 2022 at 11: 00 a.m. at the United Lutheran Church, Cavalier, ND., Visitation will be held at Askew Funeral home in Cavalier, Friday March 11th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
