Todd Johnston

Todd J. Johnston, 62, passed away in his home January 1, 2025. Please join us to honor the life of Todd Johnston who passed on January 1, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday July 27th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Cavalier Evangelical Free Church located at 1006 Main St W Cavalier, ND 58220. This is a time to share stories, laughter, and memories as we remember him.

Todd was born April 28, 1962 in Michigan, ND. He grew up, graduated and lived in Cavalier, ND until his passing.

Todd spent most of his life working for Mayo Construction and truck driving. In his retirement he enjoyed spending his time in the garden, laughing at his own jokes, going for 4 wheeler rides with his beloved dog Jaxon, watching races, and tinkering with different vehicles in the yard. Through his tough and stubborn exterior was a gentle soul that few got to see but all should remember.

Todd is survived by his mother Marlene Finnson, his children Savanna (Zach) Akes, Cole (Mary) Johnston, stepdaughter Desiree (Jon) Gabriel, his sisters Connie Hanenberg, Jennifer Johnston, and brother Justin (Amy) Johnston, his aunt Kathy (Jim) Foltz, as well as several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Todd is preceded in death by his father Jim Johnston, aunt Michelle Jesperson, and stepfather Sig Finnson.
