Todd G. Gudmundson

Todd G. Gudmundson, 75, of Mountain, ND passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Valley Elder Care in Grand Forks, ND after battling cancer. Funeral service will be held Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Vikur Lutheran Church, Mountain, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial will be held in the Mountain Cemetery.

Todd Gudmunder Gudmundson was born March 17, 1943 at Deaconess Hospital in Grafton, ND, the son of Torfi and Sigrun (Johnson) Gudmundson. He grew up and attended school in Mountain, ND. After graduating from Mountain High School in 1961, he worked for Rodney Bryron’s service station before moving to Minneapolis. While living there, he worked at various custodial positions. When Todd moved back to Mountain, he lived in the family home before moving to Borg Memorial Home where he lived for many years. Todd’s health required him to move to Valley Elder Care. He loved to draw, especially roses and enjoyed playing Bingo. He was a member of the Vikur Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his sister, Shirley (Oscar) Byron, Edinburg, ND; nieces: Sherri Hurt, Hoople, ND, Kim (Jon) Ness, Devils Lake, ND, Kristi (Tom) Holm, Edinburg, ND; nephews: John Byron, Fargo, ND, Kirk (Beth) Byron, Palmer, AK; and also survived by several great niece and nephews and one great-great niece.

Preceding him in death were his parents.
