Tim Gudmundson

Tim Gudmundson, 65, of Mountain, ND passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the First Care Health Center, Park River, ND. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND..

Tim was born on March 16, 1956 to Gudmundur and Emily (Kristjanson) Gudmundson. He grew up on the family farm near Mountain, ND and spent most of his life there. He attended grade school in Mountain and graduated from Edinburg High School in 1974.
He worked at the Cavalier Air Force Station as a mail driver and for various farmers in the area. He worked at Marvin Windows in Grafton, ND for over 20 years until failing health forced him to retire. He made many good friends there.

Tim loved to hunt, to ride motorcycles, his many dogs and was an avid gun collector. He was a master storyteller and could keep friends and family laughing for hours.

He is survived by his best friend, Deborah Reilly, Brothers, Gene (Helen) of Mountain, ND; Lowell (Cecilia) of South Hadley, MA; and Eric (Kari) of Crookston, MN, 8 nieces and nephews, and 7 great nieces and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by both of his parents.
