Thomas McKenny

Thomas McKenny, 77, of Osnabrock, ND passed away June 7, 2011 at the Osnabrock Good Samaritan Center.

Thomas McKenny was born April 12, 1934 at Dayton, Ohio to H. Joseph and Alice (Mooney) McKenny. He grew up and was educated in the area. After a year of college, Thomas enlisted in the United States Navy. He served twice in Vietnam and after a career in the Navy, retired in 1973. Thomas was united in marriage to Lois (Neutman) on April 11, 1985 at Largo, FL where they lived for four years. They then spent a few years in Dayton, Ohio. They moved to Spring City, TN where, as an avid fisherman, Thomas was able to work as a fishing guide. They spent eight years in Kenansville, FL and then lived in Buras, LA before moving to Osnabrock five years ago.

Thomas is survived by his wife Lois, children: Mary, Theresa and Sherri Ann, step-son James Simpson, and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dick, an aunt, uncle and cousin Timmy.
