Roy Slagerman

Roy Slagerman age 78 of Pembina, ND, died on Tuesday, October 4, 2005, at the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla, ND. Funeral service was held on Friday, October 7, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Burial in the Pembina Cemetery, Pembina, ND.
Roy Slagerman was born October 24, 1926, at Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada. He was adopted by Percy and Ann (Houston) Slagerman. Roy grew up and attended school at Pembina, graduating from Pembina High School. He then served in the U.S. Navy. After his discharge from the service he returned to Pembina. From 1963 until his retirement in 1987, he worked for Motor Coach Industries.
In May of 1948, he married Emily Fritz at Grand Forks, ND. She passed away in 1988.
He is survived by his children, Pam (Keith) Cameron, Pembina, ND, Percilla (Rick) Stegman, Frazee, MN, and Kevin Slagerman, Pembina, ND, four grand daughters, and four great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his parents.
