Roger A. Mondor

Roger A Mondor was born on May 8, 1966, in Cavalier, ND the youngest child of George and Leona (Lupien) Mondor. He grew up and attended school in Neche, Osnabrock, and Langdon. He served in the ND National Guard for six years active and two inactive. In 1986, Roger moved to Benson, MN. There he was united in marriage to Janil Nordby on July 30, 1988, and was blessed with two sons and one daughter.

Roger enjoyed trips to the casino and camping. He loved hanging out with his friends and family. And spending time with his grandchildren.

Roger was called from this life on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at his daughter's home in Appleton, MN after a short battle with cancer.

Roger is survived by his children: Bo (Gisel) Mondor of Willmar, MN, Kristy (Jake) Mondor of Appleton, MN, and Hunter (Brittany) Mondor of Benson, MN. Five grandchildren: Myles, Mason, Hudson, Liam, and Loralie. His siblings: Randy Mondor of Fargo, Deb (Dale) Benazeski of Ringle, WI, Diane (Keith) Lindenberg of Napolean, ND, Rita (Donny) Calmes of Bossier City, LA, Ken (Janet) Mondor of Cavalier, Bonnie (Dean) Christianson and Jon (Susan) Mondor of Langdon, and Patricia (Kelly) Mondor also of Cavalier.

He was proceeded in death by his parents - George and Leona, a grandchild - Oakland, his brother - Doug Mondor, a neice - Tonya Peterson, and nephews Derek Mondor and Tyler Pickard. Blessed be his memory.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Our Redeemers Lutheran Church in Benson, MN followed by the memorial service at 2:00. Burial in the family plot will occur at a later date in Saints Nereus and Achilleus Catholic Cemetery in Neche, ND.
