Richard D. White

Richard D. White, 53, of Walhalla, ND passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 22nd from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the church.

Richard was born February 1, 1965 at Cavalier, ND to Richard “Mickey” and Laura (Venne) White. He grew up in Walhalla and graduated from Walhalla High School. Richard then attended Lake Region Junior College in Devils Lake, ND and Northwest Tech in East Grand Forks, MN. He worked as a Pharmacy Tech at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing baseball and softball, and playing cards. He married Denise Aamot and they had two children Brittney and Wyatt.

Richard is survived by his childen: Brittney White and Wyatt White, both of Grand Forks, ND; granddaughter, Chloe Roeschlein; his mother, Laura White, Walhalla, ND; siblings: Carol (Robert) Osowski, Grafton, ND, Nancy (Rod) Pelletier, and Janice (Ted) Berthold, all of Grand Forks, ND; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceding him in death was his father, Mickey and sister, Myrna Cook.

“Richard had an infectious smile and laugh, always making other laugh. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.”
