Ray C. Robinson, 89, of Cavalier, ND passed away Friday, March 10, 2017, at the Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center, Hallock, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Brigid of Ireland Catholic Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held Monday, March 13th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a 7:00 p.m. vigil service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the St Brigid's Catholic Church, Borg Memorial Home, Mountain, ND, or the Crystal, ND American Legion.
Raymond C. Robinson was born November 18, 1927, near Hensel, ND to Joseph and Ada (Bigwood) Robinson. He grew up in the Hensel area where he attended school. Ray then served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. After his discharge from the service he returned home and married Florence Godon on November 5, 1953 in Hallock, MN.
Ray worked for the John Unke farm and later managed the grain elevators in Hensel and Cavalier. He was a member of the Crystal American Legion. Ray enjoyed bowling and golf.
He is survived by his children: Jack Robinson, Bonnie (Mike) Lewis, all of Cavalier, Gary (Delores) Robinson, Hensel, ND, Mary (Robert) Beegle, Sedalia, MO, Mark Robinson, Cavalier, ND; grandchildren: Christopher (Lori) Lewis , Kelli (Brandon) Ault; Amy (Kevin) Beaudoin, Naomi (Charles) Magnell, Sadie (Patrick) Askew; Justin Beegle, Jennifer (Danny) Hudson, Kara Beegle; great-grandchildren: Kayden; Olivia and Roman; Maci; Niam; Peyton, Paige, Chase.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Florence on September 10, 2012; sister, Mary Logsdon; brothers: Albert, Earl, Howard, and George Robinson.

Our deepest sympathies to all of the family. Ray and Florence were good friends of my folks and when we would visit with him at Thompson's Café, many memories were spoke of. Gary and Ray always swapped elevator stories as well. A special man indeed!!! RIP Ray

My sympathy on the loss of your Dad. He was always so kind and friendly to all our family. Bonnie we recall how exceptionally kind and thoughtful you were to my parents (Johnie & Dorothy Dietrich) all through the years at the clinic. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
