Randy L. Hartz

     Randy Hartz, 66, formerly of Cavalier, ND passed away at his home in Park River, ND on Monday, February 20, 2023. A private family service will be held.

     Randy was born March 3, 1956, at Cavalier, ND, the son of Lloyd and Delma (Hildebrant) Hartz. He grew up in Cavalier and remained with his parents until November of 2020 , when he went to make his home with Friendship Inc. in Park River.

     He loved music, comedies, and going for rides. Randy loved being around his family and learned to love a new family and home when he went to live at Friendship. There he experienced so many new and fun things and relationships.

     Survivors include his mother, Delma in Cavalier, siblings: Rodger (Cheryl) Hartz, Val (Bob) McFadden, and Keith (LeRae) Hartz, aunts: Judy Hildebrant, Ruth Ann Thom, and Jane Falk. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews, and special family: Laine Burns and the 503 house staff and residents.

     He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Hartz.
