So very sad to hear this news. Oscar and Shirley were our host couple when Bobby and I were married in Mountain. I remember Shirley looked like a princess ,she wore a long baby blue gown with long sleeves and I think feathers on the bottom of the sleeves. She could've starred in the movie Frozen no kidding. I remember after the wedding we went to Byrons for a drink and I heard Oscar laughing at one end of the bar and Bobby next to me laughing and it was like stereo . Loved to hear Oscar laugh which he did a lot. It was infectious. Being team mates for the Byron reunion we had many good times. Will he be missed ---oh yeah . We will have many memories to warm our hearts.Love and hugs to all. Louann and Bobby

Mr. Byron and I started school at the same time - he as my teacher and my first year of elementary school. Mr. and Mrs. Byron were very dear to my family and remained life long friends. It was very special when they came to my father's funeral a year ago. Sweet memories - hold on tight to them.

As a young girl I spent a lot of time on Helgas farm I called her grandma because alll my grandparents passed away. She would take me to Langdon shopping. My mother RUNA BYRON would drive . Oscar would always pull tricks on me and I fell for them every time. One time he took me to the little barn on there farm to watch him milk the cow I should have known he had a trick up his sleeve he got me close enough the next thing I know hes spraying cow milk at me his laugh was contagious and he was always pulling ticks on me nothing bad all in fun he was a lot of fun and always had that look he was up to something I will miss him and was blessed to have such great memories of him. Blessed to have seen him in mountain last August and get our picture together Love you Rest In Peace my dear cousin
