Orville Rollefstad

Orville Rollefstad, 93, of rural Langdon, ND passed away Monday, May 8, 2017 at the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla, ND. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the Big Pembina Lutheran Church, rural Langdon, ND. Burial will be held in the Big Pembina Cemetery.
Orville was born April 14, 1924 near Medicine Hat, Alberta to Charles and Tilda (Bjornstad) Rollefstad. He grew up at Schuler, Alberta, and moved with his parents to the Vang, ND area.
On November 5, 1955, he married Clarice Vollum at Osnabrock, ND. They farmed in the Vang area and Orville also worked for Simplot and Christian Farms. Clarice passed away October 27, 2006. He married Lois Oehring on April 24, 2010 at Big Pembina Lutheran Church. She passed away June 28, 2015.
He is survived by his sister, Agnes Manders; sister-in-law, Penny Rollefstad, his nieces and nephews; and special adopted granddaughter, Kellee Gratton Thacker.
Also preceding him in death were his parents; an infant daughter, and siblings: Helen Blair and Earl Rollefstad.
