Nick Horgan

Nick Horgan age 80, of Sparks, NV, and formerly of Neche, ND, died Monday, October 24, 2005, in Sparks. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 7, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. at the Saints Nereus and Achilleus Catholic Church, Neche, ND. Burial will be held in the church cemetery. Celebrant, Rev. Fr. Thomas Krupcih. Arrangements with Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND.
Felix Nicholas � Nick' Horgan was born November 20 1924, in Neche, ND, one of twin sons to Nicholas and Edith (Cartier) Horgan. He attended school at Neche and later served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. After his discharge from the service he farmed the family property near Neche with his father for many years, retiring in 1989.
He was an active member of Saints Nereus and Achilleus Catholic Church and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sparks.
Nick is survived by his wife of fifteen years, Jeanice Horgan, Sparks, NV, sister, Patricia (John) Gensler, Naperville, IL, sister-in-law, Janet Horgan, Tolna, ND., one niece and four nephews, Michelle, Kevin, Mark, Timothy, and Sean.
He was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother, Francis Sylvester Horgan, and his younger brother, Dennis Lloyd Horgan.
A memorial service was held earlier at St. Raphael's Catholic Church, Naperville, IL. Celebrant was Rev. Ted Weitzel.
