Mildred Hornung

Mildred M. Hornung age 86 of Walhalla, ND died on Friday, October 9, 2009, at Woodside Village, Grand Forks, ND. A Family Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 12, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla, ND. Burial in the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.
Mildred M. Stremick was born August 26, 1923, at Chicago, IL to Philip J. and Emma (Urlaub) Stremick.
On November 27, 1944, she married Francis J. Hornung at Walhalla, ND. He passed away on February 28, 1996.
Survivors include her children, Patricia (Michael) Mattson, Hallock, MN, Carol (Glenn) Dahlstrom, Hillsboro, ND, Thomas (Carol) Hornung, Eagan, MN, Timothy (Tracey) Hornung, Appleton, WI; four grandchildren, Katie, Kurt, Justin, and Sophie; great-granddaughter, Ella; siblings, Mercedes (Ron) Stedman, Woodstock, IL, Amelda (Rob) Hornung, Walhalla, Evelyn Arneson, St. Paul, MN, Edward (Marlene) Stremick and Philip (Myrna) Stremick all of Walhalla, William (Marlene) Stremick, Cavalier, ND, Anna (Lawrence) Werven and Daniel (Vera) Stremick, all of Walhalla.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Celebrant: Rev. Fr. Thomas Krupich.
Casket Bearers: Joan Chaput, Katie Dahlstrom, Janice Horgan, Justin Hornung, Scott Hornung, and Steve Hornung.
