Mary K. Danielson, 87, of Walhalla, ND, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011, at the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 22, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 21; from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00pm prayer service at the church. Burial in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.
Mary K. Kram was born November 8, 1924 in Langdon, North Dakota, to John G and Elizabeth (Klebovich) Kram. She grew up north of Langdon; she married Lloyd Danielson November 14, 1945, in Langdon, ND. They lived and farmed in the Pembina Valley, west of Walhalla, ND.
She was a member of the St. Boniface Catholic Church and St. Boniface Altar Society and she also taught CCD. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and was an avid bird watcher. Mary also published a rhubarb cookbook.
Survivors include her sons: Patrick (Stephanie) Danielson, Canon City, CO; David (Brenda) Danielson, Aurora, CO; Peter Danielson, Walhalla; daughters: Kathy (Darrel) Nash, Lawton, ND; Carol Castleberry, Ruidoso, NM; Mary (William) Maxson, Nogal, NM and Joan (Craig) Andersen, Fort Worth, TX. Grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, Annell, Beth, Sydney, David, Tyler, Sarah, Barry and Jessica: great grandchildren, Chris, Jeff, Ben, Claire, Lexia, Lily and Amelia: sister, Ann Bjornson and brother, Jerry Kram, both of Minnesota.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Lloyd, December 27, 1987, son Michael, daughter-in-law Yvonne, great-granddaughter Livia, two sisters and seven brothers.
