Margaret E Grube

Margaret Grube, age 88, of Walhalla, ND, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018, at the Griggs County Care Center, Cooperstown, ND. At her request, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. She will be buried in the St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Bathgate, ND. Memorials are preferred to the St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery.
Margaret Grube the daughter of William and Genevieve Proudlove was born on December 29, 1929, in Bathgate, North Dakota. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Schumacher's in Grafton for 28 years. Some of the things she enjoyed were yard work and flower beds.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Grube; four sons: Steven Thacker, Hasting, NE; Michael (JoEllen) Thacker, Fergus Falls, MN; Wayne (Shirley) Thacker, Holly Springs, NC; Douglas (Karen) Thacker, River Falls, WI; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Francis Thompson and Dorothy Default; brother, Lee (Bud) Proudlove; and aunt, Florine Chappell.
