Malcolm C Greenwood

Malcolm Carl Greenwood, 53, of Backoo, ND passed away Monday, May 8, 2017, in his home. Memorial service will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Lutheran Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held one hour before the time of services.
Malcolm was born March 20, 1964, at Cavalier, ND, to Lester "Scotty" and Mary (Teie) Greenwood. He lived his entire life in Backoo, ND. After graduating from Cavalier High School in 1982, he spent a few years working as a carpenter before learning the floor covering installation trade which he worked at for over thirty years and eventually started his own business, "Mac's Floor Covering."
On January 28, 1984, He married Amber (Nupdal) Greenwood and during their 20 year marriage they lived in Backoo where they raised their two children, Mitchell and Alicia.
Malcolm enjoyed the simple things in life. He took great pride in his yard and gardens. He loved to spend time visiting with friends and neighbors. He got a thrill out of going to auction sales to see what kind of treasures he could find and bring home. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.
Survivors include his children: Mitchell (Alicia Busch- Fiance) Greenwood, Watford City, ND and Alicia Greenwood, Grand Forks; Grandson: Uriah Greenwood; Siblings: Jerry (Carol) Greenwood, Backoo, ND; David (Anna) Greenwood, Peublo, CO; and Trudy (Randy) Robinson, Hensel, ND. Along with many other nieces and nephews, Aunts and Uncles and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
