Maryland

Lucas Neumann, age 35, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many, passed away on January 26, 2024, in Rising Sun, Maryland. He was born on April 15, 1988, in North Dakota to be welcomed by his loving parents, Michael and Cheryl Neumann.

Lucas's life was one filled with passion and love for those around him. His devotion to his family was unwavering; he leaves behind his wife, Tricia, and their cherished son, Bret. Laura, Candice, Daniel, Davey, and Joanna were not only siblings but also his lifelong friends who shared countless memories together.

A man of many talents and interests, Lucas had an insatiable curiosity about history, which led him to earn his bachelor's degree in social sciences from Mayville State University. He found happiness in the great outdoors, where he spent much of his time exploring parks and enjoying picnics by the river with loved ones. He was an avid sports fan who played football throughout high school and college. He was an unwavering Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. Music was another one of Lucas's passions which brought joy into every aspect of his life. He loved sharing his talents, whether it be playing drums or guitar or singing along with his favorite tunes.

In addition to being a devoted family man and pursuing his hobbies wholeheartedly, Lucas touched the lives of so many people through kindness that knew no bounds. His warm smile could light up any room and could comfort all those around him. He never knew a stranger.

Lucas was preceded in death by his father, Donald Walter; grandparents Lloyd and Dorothy Eaton; grandparents Thomas and Helen Schultz; grandfather Karl Neumann; and cousin Micheal Imberi.
