Kermit Gunsolley

Kermit O. Gunsolley, 80, passed away on February 6, 2024, peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Walhalla Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.

Kermit was born September 16, 1943 to Mike and Winifred Gunsolley in Sac City, Iowa. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and received the Purple Heart for his service. He married Donna (Goulet) Rousseau on June 7, 1975 in Bemidji, MN. Kermit enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren.

Kermit is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Roxanne (Travis) Lafferty, Chuck (Laurie) Rousseau, Vicki (Steven) Bennett, Mike (Kristie) Rousseau, and Michael Duursma; brother, Maynard Gunsolley; sister, Bonnie Gunsolley; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and brothers, David Gunsolley and Joe Gunsolley.
