Kelly Kalis

Kelly J. Kalis, 32, of Hamilton, ND passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at his home. Funeral service will be held Friday, June 16, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND. Burial will be held in the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.
Kelly John Kalis was born April 18, 1985, at Cavalier, ND to John and Julie (Herman) Kalis. He grew up in Walhalla and St. Thomas, ND. He started working in concrete construction for his uncle, George. For the past several years he has worked for BCI Construction. Things he enjoyed were hunting, four wheeling, collecting vehicles, and spending time with his children and family.
On July 4, 2015, he married Desirae Cook at Hamilton, ND. She survives as do his children: KayLeigh, Carley, and John Kalis, all of Hamilton, ND; mother, Julie (Terry) Danielson, St. Thomas, ND; brothers: Kevin Kalis and Brandon Danielson both of Walhalla, ND, Andrew (Ashley) Danielson, Fargo, ND; grandmother, Sharon Fowser, Jordan, MN; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his father, John Kalis; grandparents: Charles and Eleanor Kalis, Dale Fowser, and Lynn Herman.
