June E. Roder

June E. Roder, 81, of Osnabrock, ND, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at the Lutheran Sunset Home in Grafton, ND.

June Eleanor Bock was born June 17, 1937, at Lisbon, ND, to Elmer and Tena (Bott) Bock. She grew up on the family farm and graduated from Lisbon High School. June then moved to Fargo and worked as a secretary and, while in Fargo, met her future husband, Howard Roder. They were married August 4, 1957, at Lisbon, ND. After their marriage they settled in the Osnabrock area where they lived and farmed. She enjoyed helping on the farm, mowing, baking and quilting.

Survivors include her children: Cindy Roder and Bruce (Lisa) Roder, all of Osnabrock; grandchildren: Derek, Krista, and Kellen Roder; great-grandchild Jaidyn Roder; and sister Sharon (Dale) Seim. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband Howard; and brothers: Robert, Jerry, and Jim.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the Brooks Funeral Home in Langdon, ND. Visitation will be held for one hour before the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association or the Lutheran Sunset Home in Grafton, ND.
