Judy Faye Ullyott

Judy Faye Ullyott, 78, of Langdon, ND, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND. Funeral service will be held Monday, April 29, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Lutheran Church in Langdon, ND. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 28 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at Brooks Funeral Home in Langdon, ND, and for one hour before the time of service at the church on Monday.

Judith Faye Florence was born July 3, 1940, on the family farm near Union, ND, to Howard and Nora (Nelson) Florence. She grew up in the Union area and graduated from Milton High School. Following high school she worked as a nurse’s aide in Park River and Grand Forks, ND. After returning to Langdon she worked at various jobs.

On May 14, 1962, Judy married Allen Ullyott at Union, ND. After their marriage they lived in Langdon. She worked at the Langdon Day Care in the baby room for 22 years and had a love for the children. She is still referred to as Grandma Judy by many of the day care families. Things she enjoyed were embroidery, crocheting, baking cookies, and taking and looking at photographs. Spending time with her dog Corky and her family were special to her. Judy taught Sunday School at United Lutheran Church for many years.

She is survived by her children: Jolene (Greg) Everson of Langdon, ND, and David (BethAnn) Ullyott of Bakersfield, CA; grandchildren: Lindsey (Brandon) Carey, Katie (Devon) Johnson, Taylor Everson, Benjamin and Sarah Ullyott; and great-grandchildren: Pryce and Josie Carey, Liam, Lavin and Colbie Johnson, and Kasen Roppel. She is also survived by her siblings: Gaylene Ullyott, Yvonne (Brad) Bata, and Ronald Florence and several special nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband Allen; brother-in-law Robert W. Ullyott; and several other brothers and sisters–in-law.

Visitation on Sunday, April 28th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the Brooks Funeral Home, Langdon, ND.
