Judy Cook, 71, of Walhalla, ND passed away May 6, 2023 at Pembina County Memorial Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 12, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. at the church.
Judy Ann Cook was born on July 23rd, 1951, to Art and Lena (Bartlette) Goulet in Grafton, North Dakota.
Judy grew up in Walhalla, North Dakota along with her 15 brothers and sisters. Judy and her twin,
Gerald were the third set of twins for the Goulet Family.
Judy later moved to Crookston MN, where she raised her children, Gerald and Audra. Once her children were grown and gone, Judy moved back to Walhalla to be closer to her family.
Judy enjoyed hunting, camping, spending time with the loves of her life, her grandchildren, and enjoying time with her family and friends. She was a Cowboys fan and often had a fun rivalry with her son and his Vikings. She loved the Minnesota Twins and never missed a televised game. Her favorite times were when she would take rides out into the Brick Mines and the Pembina Gorge with her family, she loved the changing of the leaves in the fall, saying that it was her favorite time of the year.
Judy is survived by her son Gerald (Rhonda) Goulet of West Fargo ND, daughter Audra Goulet of
Colorado; grandchildren Chance Goulet and Tristan Hestnas; step-grandchildren, James (Vicki) Schumm,
Alysha (Matthew) Schaffner, Erin Daignault; brothers Earl “Butch” Goulet, Marlin “Dodo” Goulet, Lloyd (Angie) Goulet, Gerald (Denise) Goulet and Rodney (Barbara) Goulet; sisters Dorothy “Dot” Schel, Donna (Kermit) Gunsolley as well as many nieces and nephews.
Judy was proceeded in death by her parents; brothers Mearl, Louis, Audrey, Andrey, Marvin; sisters,
Deloris, Louise, Remona; grandchildren Kory Ann and Brandon.
