Jesse S. Economy

Jesse Stuart Economy, 24, of Langdon, ND passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017. Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Lutheran Church, Langdon, ND. Visitation will be held Friday, May 5th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the United Lutheran Church. Burial will be held in the Lebanon Cemetery, Langdon, ND.

Jesse was born August 13, 1992 in St. Cloud, MN to Norman Jr. and Linda (Campbell) Economy. He spent the first seven years of his life in Floodwood, MN. In 1999, the family moved to Mott, ND and in 2005 to Langdon. After graduating from Langdon Area High School in 2011, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years. Jesse worked with his dad in the construction business and was currently attending the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.

Jesse loved his family and had a great connection with his many nieces and nephews. He could always be found with friends or his dog Zeus. Jesse was someone you could count on and always went out of his way to do anything for his family and friends. He was the life of the party and could always be found with a smile on his face. Jesse had a very adventurous spirit and loved doing anything outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his parents, Norm and Linda Economy, Langdon, ND; siblings: Jaclyn Economy, Aberdeen, SD, Matthew (Alleiy) Economy, Osnabrock, ND, Lucas Economy, Aberdeen, SD, Ariel (Drew) Simmons, Langdon, ND, Ruth Economy, Perth Australia, Marcus Economy, El Paso, TX, Anfernee and Roger Economy both of Langdon; seven nieces and five nephews; grandparents: Norman and MaryAnn Economy, Wellton, AZ, Duane and Nona Brinkman, Tucson, AZ, Kathleen Campbell, Virginia, MN; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceding him in death are his grandfathers: Donald Stuart Flaaten and D. Kelly Campbell; nephew Ezekiel Janis; and his cousin, Hannah Wilson.
