James Dale Hall

James Hall, 65, of Munich, ND, passed away Monday, October 14, 2019, in Munich.

James was born October 20, 1953, to Lloyd E. and Dorothy (Buckingham) Hall. He grew up in Munich and graduated from Munich High School. After graduation, he entered the US Army and served for two years before being honorably discharged. He returned to North Dakota and worked in Cavalier as an electrician then moved back to Munich and worked for Quiring Electric. He also worked in Cando, ND, at Leonardo’s before working as a janitor at the Munich School for about 10 years and retiring two years ago. James loved to garden and gave away most of his harvest to the community and his friends. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the American Legion and the Eagles in Langdon.

James is survived by his siblings: Twila Zahn of Bottineau, ND, David (Judy) Hall of Arizona, Barbara (Roger) Fohr of Grand Forks, ND, Terry (Marianne) Hall of Munich, ND, Bradley Hall of Cando, ND, Kevin Hall of Grand Forks, ND and Shawn Hall of Munich, ND, along with many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Michael, and brother-in-law Craig Zahn.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2019, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Munich, ND. Inurnment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Munich, ND.
