Hilda I. Clark, 86, of Walhalla, ND. entered into eternal life surrounded by family on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Pembilier Nursing Center, in Walhalla where she has spent her last 14 months and the past four days under Hospice Care.

Hilda was born August 14, 1933 to Adolf and Olga (Stegman) Latozke in Neche, ND. She grew up on the farm by Neche, graduated from Cavalier High School and attended Mayville Teachers College.

On November 13, 1953 she married Lewis Clark and lived in Walhalla. From that time she worked for Barta’s Super Valu, Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla Coop Oil, and other various jobs.
 

She loved watching her grandchildren and cooking for them, especially date filled cookies. Hilda also enjoyed spending time with family, her cats, and walking her dog Poocher. Other pastimes include sewing, knitting, crocheting and reading.

Hilda is survived by her children: Fred ”Pete” Clark of Maricopa, AZ, Floyd (Patty) Clark and  Karen (Tim) Smith all of Walhalla, ND; grandchildren: Ted(Tori) Clark, Caitlin(Matt) Eck, Ashley (Andrew) Danielson, Jamie(Jeremy) Blodgett, Joel(Kelsey) Smith, and Michael(Alison) Smith; great grandchildren: Austin, Lauren, Kyla, Weston, Dominic, Kelly, and William. Along with several in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, daughter, Kay (Larry) Nielson; brothers: Edward, Arthur, Alfred, Paul, Irwin Latozke; sisters: Evelyn (Keil), Doris ( Armstrong)

 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at the Walhalla Lutheran Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour before
