Harriet J. Chadwick

Harriet J. Chadwick age 77 of Neche, ND died on Friday, September 9, 2005, at the Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the funeral home for one hour before the time of services.
Harriet J. Shaffer was born December 31, 1927, at San Diego, CA to Harry V. And Theresa (Hohs) Shaffer. She grew up and attended school in San Diego. Harriet worked for the Oxnard School District as a food service supervisor until her retirement in 1988. In 1990, she moved to Neche, ND.
On April 18, 1948, she married Floyd W. Chadwick at Yuma, Arizona. He passed away in 1974.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Chadwick, Novato, CA, Christine (Jeffrey) Rewerts, Doniphan, NE, Cookie (Brent) Hotten, Ncehe, ND, and Floyd Jr. (Tonya) Chadwick, Cincinnati, OH, 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Harriet was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Betty Berneath, and two brothers.
