Gwendolyn Kay (Nedry) Kramer, of Walhalla, North Dakota, was born May 24, 1955, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Gerald Nedry and Elizabeth Greene. She passed away peacefully at her home on March 1, 2026, at the age of 70.
Gwen attended school in Walhalla before beginning her career at the state school in Grafton. After later moving back to Walhalla, she bartended at Jackson’s Bar, where she met Kenneth “Kenny” Kramer, who would later become her husband. Throughout her life, she held several jobs, including seasonal work at Stremick Farms. Her final place of employment was at Pembilier Nursing Center, where she was known for her dedication and care.
Gwen and Kenny enjoyed spending time together camping and attending WeFest. Gwen also loved planting flowers and celebrating holidays, especially Christmas, which was her favorite. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends and loved ones and dearly loved her dog, Sparkles.
Through her marriage to Kenny, she was blessed with stepchildren who she is survived by: Dennis Kramer (Tracy), Tracy Kramer (Karen), and Paula Dubois (Kenny). Gwen also cherished her many grandchildren: Nycole, Anne, Tony, Carmen, Kathy, Morgan, Nikita, Sam, and Terriss, as well as her niece, Jessica. She is also survived by her brother, Ron (Denise) Nedry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth “Kenny” Kramer; her parents, Gerald Nedry and Elizabeth Greene; her sister, Karen Nedry-Dearinger; and her stepson, Tracy Kramer.
Gwen will be remembered for her kindness, her hardworking spirit, and the love she shared with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
There will be a burial held at a later date.
