Ethel A. Lill

Ethel A. Lill, 91, of Langdon, ND passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Cavalier County Memorial Hospital, Langdon, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Langdon, ND. Visitation will be held Friday, July 13th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Brooks Funeral Home, Langdon, ND. Burial will be held in the Calvary Cemetery, Langdon, ND.
Ethel A. Hoffarth was born July 9, 1927 at Langdon, ND to Henry and Anna (Bodensteiner) Hoffarth. She grew up in the Maida area, where she attended school. She then worked as a waitress in Langdon. In November of 1945, she married Edward Lill at Maida, ND. They lived and farmed near Loma, ND. Things she enjoyed were word finds, butterflies, and gardening.
She is survived by her children: Bob (Linda) Lill, Langdon, ND, Linda Zerr (James Edwards), Everett, WA, Dan (Diane) Lill, Loma, ND, Tony (Judy) Lill, Langdon, Gene (Sharyl) Lill and Dave (Shirley) Lill, all of Grand Forks, ND, Brent (Noma) Lill, Auburn, WA, and Troy Lill, Langdon; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Edward; sons: Gary, Wayne, and Mark; grandson, Chad; great-grandson, Oliver; siblings, Romeo and Beatrice.
