She was our teacher at Harvey School #3. She even wrote about Norma, my sister, & me as she rode to school on our horse one day due to weather. Bless the family and I know there have to be many great memories. Thoughts and prayers go to all.

Elsie was one of a kind. She was a quiet servant to the school and community. Teaching with her was an honor. However, the greater honor and memory was to serve with her on the ambulance squad. We made many transfer trips to Grand Forks and Fargo. Each became a memory. I remember when Cindy and I left Langdon she said she was happy for us but sad that we would not be seeing each other as often. Take comfort in the fact that she is now resting in peace free of all the cares and ills of this world. Gary D. Rath

Veda, so sorry for your loss. Mom and Elaine and I taught many years together and Elsie was also my sixth grade teacher. So many wonderful memories. Loved her book. She will always be in our thoughts. God bless her everlasting soul and all our memories of her.

I always enjoyed talking to Elsie. My Mom was a Charter member of the Hall of Fame too. They were both very proud of that. Sorry for your loss Veda.
