Edmund "Ed" Restemayer

Edmund C. "Ed" Restemayer, 62, formerly of Cavalier, ND. passed away Monday, November 24, 2014, at the Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND.
Edmond Clarence Restemayer was born February 29, 1952 at Grafton, ND to Clarence and Anne (Thompson) Restemayer. After attending Cavalier Public School, Ed worked for many farmers in the areas that he lived. He loved to hunt and one of his greatest joys was to take his nieces and nephews hunting. Other things he enjoyed were camping, fishing, and visiting with everyone, especially visiting about days gone by.
Survivors include his friend, Donna Shooltz; brothers: Thomas (Kathy) Restemayer, Fargo, ND, Joe Restemayer (Joni), Grand Forks, ND; sisters: Elizabeth Dumenchuck, Pembina, ND, Julie (Lane) Unhjem, Crosby, ND; five nieces; six nephews; 22 great nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
Preceding him in death were his parents and brother-in-law, Alex Dumenchuck.
