Dorothy L. Morden

Dorothy L. Morden age 86 of Cavalier, ND died on Thursday, December 13, 2007, at the Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier, ND. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 17, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 16th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Cavalier Cemetery.
Dorothy L. Norgart was born April 14, 1921, near Crystal, ND to Haldorf and Luella (Littlejohn) Norgart. She grew up and attended school in the Crystal and Hensel area.
On April 3, 1943, she married George Morden at Cavalier, ND. They lived and farmed in the Cavalier area. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family and being a farm wife. Other pastimes she enjoyed were bowling and the local birthday club she belonged to. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the U.M.W.
She is survived by her husband, George; children, Kenneth Morden and Judy (Don) Johnson, all of Cavalier, ND; grandchildren, Dawn Olson, Misty Scholler, Devin Johnson, Chris Morden, K.C. Morden, and Colt Morden; 10 great grandchildren; siblings, Bonnie (Stanley) Ouhl, Cavalier, ND; Elmer (Gudrun) Norgart, Perry, IA; Leonard Norgart, International Falls, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Esther Norgart and Mabel Moen; brothers, Arnold and Harold Norgart.

Casket Bearers: Curtis Dunn, Ronald Jenson, Devin Johnson, Kurt Kemnitz, Chris Morden, and Howard Ray.
