Doris L. Cook

Doris L. Cook, 92, of Neche, ND, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2024, at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND. Memorial service will be held Friday, August 2, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Methodist Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held for one hour before the time of the service at the church. 

Doris L. Taylor was born March 2, 1932, at Neche, ND, to John and Rose Mae (Vosper) Taylor. She grew up in the Neche area and graduated from Neche High School. On August 20, 1950, Doris married L.W. “John” Cook at the Neche United Methodist Church. To this union, one son was born, D. Paul Cook on August 4, 1952. Doris worked at Citizens State Bank in Neche retiring in 1999. 

Doris was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed bird watching. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; son, Paul; and several siblings.
