Donald McGregor

   Donald “Donnie” Wayne McGregor, 61, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks on Monday, July 4th, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer. 

   Donnie was born on February 6, 1961, in Grafton, ND, the son of the late Gordon and Sadie (Severson) McGregor.  He attended Edmore High School and Lake Region College.  He currently had been working at the Grand Forks Air Base. Donnie always kept up on the Twins ball games, liked to fish, and spent a lot of time in his younger days hanging out with his nieces and nephews that were about the same age.  He also helped his brother, Earl, on the farm a lot before moving to Grand Forks.  He was a member of Our Redeemers Church in Fairdale, ND.

   Donnie is survived by his sister, Bonnie ( Maynard)  Stoa, of Fairdale, ND; brother Earl ( Sharlene) McGregor of  Fairdale, ND; sister- in- law Gerry McGregor of Bismarck, ND, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Kenneth McGregor.

   Services for Donnie will be Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Brooks Funeral Home in Langdon, ND, at 11:00 a.m.  Inurnment will be at the Soper Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Fairdale.
