Donald Duane Krom, 78, formerly of Nekoma, ND, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020, in Kansas City, Missouri.
Donald was born November 22, 1942 in Osnabrock Township to Peter and Dorothy (Thiessen) Krom. He grew up and attended school in Nekoma, graduating in 1966 .After high school, he joined the Army. He married Christine Jacobs. Together they had 4 children: Julie Krom, Gary Krom, Cathy Krom and Mike Krom.
Donald was survived on the day of his death by brother Bob Krom, sister Theresa Lang (Krom), his four children, sons-in-law Jim Lund and Larry Zieber, daughter-in-law Eleanor Krom, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Bob in 2023, sister Shirley Marie Krom in 1947, and wife Christine.
