Don Forschen

Donald "Don" Wayne Forschen, 53, of Grand Forks, ND passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

Don was born on February 8, 1973, to Donald Sr. and Elaine Forschen and raised in Bottineau, ND for most of his young life and later also in Minot, ND. He attended college in Bismarck, ND for a short time and he then met his first wife Wanda Kalis. He moved to Walhalla, ND and got married in 95’ and had 4 children during that relationship: Jordyn, Meghan, Drew and Autumn. Don then married Myranda Pladson later in life and together they had one son, Riggin.

Don worked many years over the road truck driving. When he wasn’t trucking over the road, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, BBQing, drawing, writing, building, making projects and spending time with family and friends. He also had a great love for dogs and always found a way to bring them home. He really loved music and to sing along. He always wanted to joke and make people laugh. He will be forever missed and would want to be remembered just this way.

He leaves behind his children, grandchildren, his two sisters; Kelly and Melissa, his nieces, nephews and his friends that loved him very much.

Preceding him in death were his father, mother, brother, and his daughter Meghan.
