We wish to send our sympathy on the loss of your dear mother and our friend Delores. It is hard to not have her on earth now, but she is in God's arms and with Allen. What a great thought. Delores was a special, gentle friend that made the most of life and we loved her for that. We spent many American Legion Family times together. Know that she was loved by us. Curt and Judy Twete

Deloris was a fantastic Aunt! At Allan's funeral the Pastor said "you were married 60+(?) Wonderful years. Deloris replied "most of them were." Couldn't love her more

I am deeply saddened to read that Deloris has passed away. Allan and Deloris were always fixtures at Legion meetings until their health would no longer allow it. I fondly remember Allan and his booming voice touting that Walhalla was the Home of The Gods! Allan was a great mentor to younger Legionnaires, himself having served as the State Commander of The American Legion Department of North Dakota in 1988-1989. Allan and Deloris were great hosts to my wife Annamarie and me when I served as the State Commander in 1993-1994. They might be gone but they are not forgotten!
