Clifford Bergman

Clifford Bergman, 80, of Langdon and formerly Mt. Carmel, ND passed away Saturday June 24, 2006 at the Cavalier County Memorial Hospital of Langdon, ND.

Clifford Nicholas Bergman was born March 5, 1926 at Mt. Carmel, ND to Sam and Marcella (Perius) Bergman. He grew up and attended school in Mt. Carmel, ND. He served in the United States Navy. Clifford and Josephine Venne were united in marriage in Grafton, ND in 1950. They made their home and farmed in Mt. Carmel until retirement in the early 1990’s. He particularly enjoyed raising pigs on the farm. Clifford loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and spending time with friends and family. He was a member of the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus, a member of the Langdon Eagles Aerie #3454, the American Legion Post #98 and served on the West Hope Township Board.

Clifford is survived by his wife Josephine of Langdon, ND, children: Ronnie Bergman of Eudora, KS; Roger Bergman of Vancouver, WA; Sally Bergman of Titusville, FL; Sam Bergman of Buckeye, AZ; Nicolette Bergman of Manvel, ND; Cory Bergman of DeSota, KS; Brian Bergman (Tammy) of DeSota, KS; Darla Schroeder of Titusville, FL; Vince Bergman of Bremington, WA; Bradley Bergman (Julie) of Eudora, KS, 18 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, brother Orville Bergman of New Berlin, WI, sister Thelma (Earl) Howatt of Langdon and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Cindy Cook.

VISITATION Tuesday June 27, 2006 from 2 to 4pm at the Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon. Visitation will also take place for one hour before the time of the services at the church on Wednesday.

SERVICES Wednesday June 28, 2006 at 2:00 O �Clock at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Langdon, ND.

INTERMENT Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery of Mt. Carmel, ND.
