Clarence Sauer

Clarence Sauer, 83, of Langdon and formerly of Mt. Carmel, ND passed away April 17, 2006 at the Cavalier County Memorial Hospital of Langdon, ND.

Clarence Peter Sauer was born October 8, 1922 at Mt. Carmel, ND to Peter and Clara (Kartes) Sauer. He grew up and attended school in Mt. Carmel. Clarence moved to Minneapolis in 1951. He and Better Renner were united in marriage on February 9, 1959 in Minneapolis. They moved to a farm near Mt. Carmel, ND in 1961 where they made their home and raised their son David. Clarence and Betty moved to Langdon in 1993.

Clarence is survived by his wife Betty of Langdon, son David (Ruth) Sauer of Savannah, Georgia, grandchildren Bradley and Kevin, brothers and sisters; Sister Carmelita O.S.F. of the St. Francis Convent of Hankinson, ND, Anna Fischer of Grand Forks, ND, Bernice Bodensteiner of Grand Forks, ND, Patricia (Herbert) Bodensteiner of Walhalla, ND, Lloyd Sauer of Langdon and John (Alfreda) Sauer of Mt. Carmel, ND.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Dennis and Joseph.

VISITATION will begin at 4pm with a 7pm Prayer Service all at the Brooks Funeral home of Langdon on Friday April 21, 2006.

SERVICES 11:00am Saturday April 22, 2006 at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Langdon.

INTERMENT Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery of Mt. Carmel, ND.
