Carolina G. Dearinger age 94 of Walhalla, ND, died on Saturday, September 17, 2005, at the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla, ND. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at the Walhalla Lutheran Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation on Tuesday, September 20th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the church. Burial in the Hillside Cemetery, Walhalla, ND. Arrangements with Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND.
Carolina G. Thomasson was born July 20, 1911, to Egill and Gudbjorg "Ida" (Johnson) Thomasson. She grew up in the Akra and Hallson area.
On December 27, 1927, she married Oscar Dearinger at Cavalier, ND. After their marriage she lived in Walhalla the rest of her life. Oscar died on May 12, 1981.
She is survived by sons, Elmer (Susie) Dearinger, Robert (Linda) Dearinger, Gary (Patty) Dearinger all of Walhalla, ND; daughters, Ruby Johnson, Walhalla, ND, Dorothy Denault, Gary, IN, Ida (Wally) Melsted and Eileen (Byrl) Ducioame all of Walhalla, Leona (Ron) Fuller, Sterling, CO, and Marge (Bill) Letexier, Backoo, ND, daughter-in-law, Doris Dearinger, Walhalla, ND, 37 grandchidlren, 57 great grandchildren, 39 great great grandchildren, sisters, Lizzie (Vern) Radtke Jamestown, ND and Arndis Omberg, Aitkin, MN.
Carolina was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Alvin, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, one sister, and six brothers.
