Allen "Mike" Steenerson

Allen Micheal "Mike" Steenerson, 69, of Pembina, ND passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the VA Hospital in Fargo, ND, surrounded by his family. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pembina Lutheran Church, Pembina, ND. Visitation will be held Friday, April 7th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Fargo DAV, 2101 Elm St. N., Fargo, ND 58102.
Allen Micheal "Mike" Steenerson was born September 17, 1947, in Drayton, ND to Alvin and Elsie (Lieberg) Steenerson. He was raised in Bowesmont, ND and graduated from Drayton High School in 1965. Mike was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1968 and served in Vietnam from 1968 to 1970.
On July 31, 1970, he married his loving wife Carol Colvin in Reidsville, NC. They made their home in Pembina for 46 years. He worked at Motor Coach Industries in Pembina for 39 years, retiring in 2009.
Mike was a member of the Pembina Lutheran Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and watching the "Price is Right" on TV.
He is survived by his wife Carol, Pembina, ND; sons: Scott Steenerson (Crystal Reger), Moorhead, MN and Todd (Erika) Steenerson, West Fargo, ND; brother, Don (Kathy) Steenerson, Grafton, ND; sister-in-law, Margery "Pudge" Steenerson, Drayton, ND; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and brothers: Marlin, Roger, and Richard.
