I remember the hot hot July day when my sister Carol married Mike, the sweat dripping from his chin in the un-air conditioned church. What a guy. We loved him like a brother. I know that our mom Irene has her arms around him in heaven making him welcome.

I'm so grateful that My daughter Kelsey and I were able to really get to know Mike when Carol & Mike came out- I was able to spend time with him at the family reunion previously, but she was not able to attend- When they came to stay with us we really got to see the humor and fun in mike- My daughter looks back fondly on the time we spent roaming around Mt Hood and trying all those restaurants! Mike and I loved him and will miss him and are sorry for the distance that kept us from seeing Carol and Mike regularly

Tis truly a sad sad time. I loved Mike and thought of him more as a brother rather than brother-in-law for almost 47 years. He will be greatly missed by everyone in the family.
